Gusta & Gusto Books in Your Classroom – to Inspire & Connect

The Gusta & Gusto stories nurture imagination, empathy, and self-expression. They are ideal for classroom reading, group discussions, and creative projects, supporting dialogue about friendship, courage, and creativity across age groups.
The Gusta & Gusto Series features the two rhinos, Gusta the Rhino Lady and Gusto the Rhino Gentleman, who navigate everyday adventures in their rhino country, discovering that courage and kindness often go hand in hand.

Their stories inspire personal growth and creative learning – from interpersonal relationships to individual learning paths – and are particularly suitable for reading promotion and social-emotional learning.

The books can be used by readers of all ages – from kindergarten to adult education – offering multiple perspectives. Since the books are available in English and in German, they are also suitable for bilingual teaching. Furthermore, the stories empower gifted education, where imagination and storytelling can open new pathways for creativity, expression, and self-development.

The Gusta & Gusto Series can also inspire children who learn in different ways, offering new forms of motivation and creative access to language, emotion, and understanding. Through the stories’ form, the interactions between the two rhinos, and their shared experiences, students can explore diversity and heterogeneity in ways that foster common ground, mutual understanding, and encourage those “aha” moments of learning together. The books of the Gusta & Gusto series illustrate how relationships act as anchors, while playfulness with a pinch of humor and lightness invite readers to join in wholeheartedly.

In this spirit, the two rhinos from the Gusta & Gusto series look forward to visiting your classroom — and warmly invite you to the Rhino Country, where dreams can come true and new possibilities unfold.

Ordering Information & Global Availability

In general, our books are available through all major retail platforms.
We are aware that every school, depending on its location, has its own acquisition processes. Please check with your school or educational institution to find out how new titles are added to your library’s collection. In some cases, school libraries work with specialized distributors or library services (e.g. national or regional library suppliers). If your institution already works with a book distributor, please check whether our titles are available through them.

If your school or educational institution handles book acquisition through a library system, you may find additional information in our Library section. Although it may not directly apply to your setup, it could still offer valuable insights.

In some countries, teachers or schools also have access to class-set lending programs (i.e. systems that allow borrowing multiple copies for classroom use and returning them afterwards). If such a program exists in your region, please check whether you can borrow a class set rather than purchase all copies. Please contact your local school library service, national library organization, or educational lending agency to learn which options may be available in your area. Please note that Gusta & Gusto Publishing House has no influence over how distribution or lending programs are managed in individual regions.
